There are a lot of options when choosing to build your WooCommerce-powered Marketplace. When you are first starting out you may have installed a previous plugin prior to using WC Vendors. We encourage our users to explore and test alternatives to ensure you have chosen the solution that is right for you.
No uninstall tools
Unfortunately, most of the marketplace alternatives do not provide systems to completely remove them after being tested. This results in database tables, roles, options, and other data being left within your database. Not only is this a bad practice it can cause a range of plugin conflicts.
What are my options?
- If you have used an alternative marketplace plugin in our WordPress install in most cases the only way to ensure a clean operation is to reset your database.
- Export your users and products and re-import them.
Do you have a migration utility?
Not currently. We are in the process of planning a tool that will allow you to migrate your data from other marketplace solutions to WC Vendors in the future.
